ANY competitor
who is considered by the Committee, Stewards or Judges to receive
outside assistance without prior permission, they will be eliminated
from that class.
A rider competing in Lead Rein classes may not enter any classes
off the Lead Rein and can only compete in the specified classes.
Only senior competitors are permitted to wear spurs which must be an
approved humane type and without plastic covers.
It is the owner's responsibility to ensure horses/ponies are the
correct height for the class.
Membership Cards must be produced when making entries at shows,
otherwise Non – Member rates will be charged.
Late entries will only be taken at the discretion of the Judge for
that class. The class entries close at the start of that class.
Entry Fees will NOT be refunded, except when the judge of any class
decides that an animal is lame or unsound.
The decision of the judge on the day will be final.
Any Competitor or Club Member wishing to make a complaint must do so
on an Official Club Complaint Form, accompanied by a fee of £5.00.
If the complaint is accepted the fee MAY be refunded.
In the event of any dispute or appeal, the committee's decision will
be final in all cases.
Points will be awarded to Club Members Only. Members must enter the
ring for the appropriate class to gain points. A minimum of ten
points from a minimum of three shows is required to qualify for end
of season points/trophies. Trophies are awarded to 3rd place, in the
event of tied places; these will be decided on most highest places
or if still tied on the best average.
These rules
apply to all Members, Competitors and Spectators, and they must be
adhered to at all times. Admission to the Show Ground/Event is
conditional on acceptance of these rules.
The Committee and Organisers do not hold themselves responsible for
any accident, loss or damage to any competitors, animals, vehicles
or property for any reason what so ever.
At all times The Showground will be deemed as private property. Any
Members, Competitors or Spectators refusing to leave when asked to
do so will be dealt with as trespassers.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and properly supervised at all times.
Galloping on the field is forbidden at ALL times. Any Member or
Competitor contravening this rule will be asked to leave and may have
their membership cancelled/or excluded from all future shows.
The rider or handler of any animal thought to be excessively or
unnecessary abused will be asked to leave the show ground and will
be reported to relevant authorities.
Stallions or Colts over the age of 2 years old are NOT allowed on
the show ground under any circumstances.
No horse or pony can compete under saddle under 4 years old.
Any abuse towards any Judge, Steward or organiser by any
competitors, club members, Their handlers, representatives or grooms
will be severely dealt with.
Competitors must be correctly dressed in ALL classes. A British
standard skull cap/ hard hat MUST be worn and fastened when on the
Showground. In all classes junior competitors MUST wear an approved
safety hat. Failure to do so will incur elimination. All other
competitors are expected to wear an approved safety hat during the
competition.
Any objections to the
allocation of points must be made
in writing
before the end of the following show. The points listings will be
available at the second show and at every show there after.
Members may only
gain points with the same combination of rider and horse/pony
throughout the season, except for the Equitation classes when the
points will be allocated to the rider.
The name of a
horse/pony must be kept for the entire season. If the animals name
is changed, then a new set of points will be started, except in
mitigating circumstances as determined by the Committee
All cups &
trophies presented throughout the season always remain the property
of Brookhead Warrington Riding Club unless otherwise stated, and
must be returned to the Club Secretary by the last points show or
the cost of replacement will be invoiced.
Once a class has
entered into trot, NO late entries will be allowed to enter the ring.

member behaviour. A copy will be provided to any club member on
